Job Description

Job Summary:The Warehouse Supervisor follows direction from the Inventory Operations Manager, works well with fellow employees, interacts appropriately with the public, completes all tasks quickly and safely, is service oriented and appropriately interacts with the purchaser and technicians.Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage and oversee the shippers and assemblers work production and paperwork.
  • Manage all shipping and assembly.
  • Manage all receiving.
  • Perform interval cycle counts on warehouse and mobile warehouses.
  • Ensure that all materials and product are properly and safely stored and accounted for.
  • Keep the entire shop and warehouse clean and orderly.
  • Organize shelving and flow of storage.
  • Load & unload trucks and shipments.
  • Help keep service technicians and sales stocked.
  • Re-supply the warehouse with frequently used materials/products.
  • Organize and quantify surplus materials
  • Return over-stocked or incorrectly ordered materials
  • Perform complete comprehensive physical inventory quarterly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive materials, ensuring that each receiver has a PO and paperwork.
  • Assist the Purchaser with pricing from the vendors.
  • Help the purchaser build and maintain lasting relationships with the vendors.
  • Assist with rebuilds, refurbishing and manufacturing of new production equipment.
  • Check existing surplus/inventory for materials.
  • Verify availability and delivery of materials/supplies.
  • Manages and issues PO’s for all outgoing purchases.
  • Oversee the drop shipments of materials.
  • Manage all part deliveries to customer, techs on/off locations and between shops.
  • Manage all returns to Shop warehouse.
  • Schedule times for deliveries to warehouse.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.
  • Keep appropriate inventory of tools and equipment.
  • Assist/support service techs in the field when needed.
  • Maintain appropriate quantities of product and inventory.
  • Build and maintain working relationship with suppliers.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Inventory Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
