Job Description

Company Overview:At Flourish Lawn & Garden Care we are dedicated to delivering top-notch service to all of our clients each and every time we step foot on their property. We are seeking an motivated and hard-working Landscaper to join our team this season.We are building a lean team of landscapers that understand hard work and outstanding customer care will lead to greater income for everyone on our team. Come grow with us!Position Start Date: As soon as possiblePosition Overview:You will be working with our supervising lawn care specialists to maintain and cultivate strong and healthy lawns. This will include mowing, trimming, fertilizing, weed control and even sod installation.What you’ll do:

  • Operate machinery such as zero-turn lawn mower, push mowers and weed whackers.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Other duties as needed
Skills We Are Seeking:
  • Hands-on experience in working on outdoor lawn projects
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with general landscaping
  • Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Responsibility and dependability
  • Ethics and integrity
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings and Saturdays
  • Be enthusiastic and dependable and work as a team player
  • Ability to think quickly and make decisions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Landscape and machine experience is an asset
  • Safety minded; safety boots required
  • Must have a valid G license with a clean record
Work Conditions:
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Requires good manual dexterity
  • Excellent stamina is required
  • Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
  • Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
  • Must be able to work flexible hours with occasional weekend work

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Bath, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
