Job Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Logistics Clerk on a permanent basis at our Co-op Ethanol Complex in Belle Plaine, SK.Who we are:As a co-operative, we do business differently. To learn more about who we are, visit www.fcl.crs.What you’ll do:You will be responsible for scheduling grain deliveries, wet distiller’s grain, dry distiller’s grain, and ethanol load out to ensure customer demands are met. You will maintain all files and documentation related to the settlement process and prepare all grain and sales related financial transactions for management approval. You will act as the first point of contact for inquiries and respond to concerns related to contracts and shipping to ensure proper execution

  • You will work with the Manager, Sales and Logistics to gather required volumes to ensure supply and demand needs are met and contracts are executed.
  • You will prepare and review grain receipts including splits, discounts, and tickets.
  • You will maintain all files and documentation for grain movement in and out of the facility, including import/export documentation, work orders, and inbound and outbound product documents.
  • You will act as the first point of contact for customers and respond to concerns relating to contract execution, import/export documentation, and shipment information.
  • You will liaison with trucking companies to obtain price quotes and book freight for contracts.
  • You will provide approved grain price quotes and contract offers to customers when required and assist in managing the grain inventory position.

  • You have a diploma in Business or Logistics.
  • You have a minimum of 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in the agriculture industry.
  • You have strong telephone and computer skills.
