Train to be a weather observer in beautiful Blue River, BC. This is a permanent position of aprox 3 days per week, 10 hr shifts (8am - 6pm PST) and 12 hr shifts (6am - 6pm PDT). This is a perfect job for a self starting, punctual, mature hobbyist, writer, photographer etc or someone with a small business that can work remotely. Successful applicant will be trained in Cornwall ON at the Nav Centre to create METAR/SPECI weather reports that are critical for aviation.Post secondary school is desirable, computer literacy and an ability to learn quickly and accurately. Full training provided without cost. Must have a vehicle and be available to travel to Kamloops or Edmonton to fly to Ottawa at end of February for 41/2 weeks of training.
