Must be local to Bonnyville or Coldlake and surrounding areas.If you are a motivated individual who enjoys being challenged and is driven to succeed professionally and you possess previous experience in industrial / commercial construction industry - insulation, passive fire proofing, scaffolding, spray foam, we invite you to consider KAEFER Canada Inc. as your new career path.Our company is built on a foundation of trust, honesty, integrity and industry excellence and we are excited to be able to offer a new position within our growing family.Project set to start December 7, 2020 and will last to December 24, 2020MUST BE LOCAL TO BONNYVILLE OR COLD LAKENO LOANO TRAVELMUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SAFETY TICKETS:CSTS-09H2S AliveWHMIS 2015AWPMUST BE ABLE TO PASS A FITNESS TO WORK TESTMUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ONLINE SITE ORIENTATIONSMUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ONLINE ON-BOARDING PACKAGEPromote a culture of safety following KAEFER’s safety standardsWork within the guidelines of all company policies and the Safety Management System.Perform a variety of skilled tasks at the journeyman level in the insulation tradeReceive assignments/get information needed to do the job from foreman/superintendent/field supervisor to apply (and/or remove) insulation materials to mechanical systems as noted belowHandle various insulation materials and finishing productsUse a variety of mechanical and hand power toolsPrepare surfaces for the application of insulationKeep equipment, hand power tools, and work spaces in a safe and clean conditionRead and interpret plans, blue prints, drawings, and sketchesUse hand/power tools, equipment, and materials of the insulation tradePerform basic arithmetic calculations related to pattern layoutsReview and check the work of personnel for conformance with standardsDemonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes to provide quality customer serviceWork cooperatively with customers and company employeesMay require the performance of other essential and marginal functionsNote: Insulation is applied to industrial and commercial mechanical systems, (e.g., pipes, boilers, ducts, tanks, towers, vessels, exchangers, and equipment) for the purpose of energy savings; personnel protection; and to control system heat transfer, condensation, and cryogenics. Industrial applications include power plants, chemical process plants, refineries, well sites etc. and commercial applications includes schools, hospitals, offices etc.Certification & Educational RequirementsJourneyman level position requires completion of formal apprentice or vocational program or equivalent training and experienceValid Driver’s License as assetQuick Apply
