Position: Pipefitter Apprentice & Journeyperson - Red Deer - 4/3 ShiftProject Type: MaintenanceProject Location: Red DeerShift: DaySchedule: 4/3Accommodations: LOATravel Details: $30 OR $40 DailyGC: GrahamAllied Partner: Quinn Construction Ltd.Reference Number: 22434Are you looking for a work life balance And interested in a 4/3 rotationJardeg is recruiting IPipefitter Journeypersons and IPipefitter Apprentices for Opportunities with the Nova Joffre Maintenance in the Red Deer area.LOA is available for people who live outside an 80 radius from sitePosition Requirements

  • Registered Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentice with previous maintenance or project experience in a SAGD facility.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Alberta Drivers’ License and meet requirements of Quinn Approved Driver Program
  • Able to meet conditions outlined on the Physical Demands Analysis
  • Achieve 100% completion of mandatory Quinn and client training
  • Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
  • Training Required: CSTS 2020, H2S Alive, OSSA Confined Space Entry, OSSA Fall Arrest, CSO, AWP
Position Description
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on quality
  • Understand ISO metric drawings.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install piping, valves, and fittings
  • Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks
  • Contribute to pre-job Toolbox meetings
  • Ensure PTA cards are included as part of each job/task
  • Conduct regular worksite inspections to monitor workmanship and safety compliance
  • Comply with Quinn and client safety policies and procedures
  • High degree of safety awareness and a commitment to safety (his/hers and others)
Position Qualifications:
  • Certified Journeyperson and/or holds a valid recognized credential OR active Insulator apprenticeship in good standing OR proof of hours (upon request).
  • CSTS 2020
  • Certified ESC Confined Space
  • Certified ESC Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
