Job Description

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Journeyman Electricians for our Bonnyville shop. Candidates must have strong electrical maintenance experience working within the Oil & Gas sector. This is a camp based position running on a 7 days on and 7 days off shift.Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term maintenance projects with well-established and reputable clients.Requirements:

  • Electrical Journeyman certificate
  • Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid Level A or C with CPR/AED, and CSTS 2020 Certificates
  • Must have previous troubleshooting and industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience working within Industrial Oil & Gas facilities
  • Must have a flexible work schedule - shiftwork, overtime, and weekends
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work out of town in camp or LOA based accommodations
  • Rotation is 7 days on 7 days off
