The Sandblaster role will be blasting and coating at various different locations within the local Bonnyville area. As well as blasting and painting in a shop environment. This is a temporary position working a 5x2 shift.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesBlasting/painting/coating material to the required specificationsSelect appropriate coating and mix as per manufacturers specificationsTesting the atmosphere and paint/coating thicknesses and filling out the required documentationHoliday testing when required and filling out the proper documentationCompleting jobs in a timely manner meeting set deadlinesDriving to and from various sites in a company vehicleCoordinate with onsite client representativesWorking safely and maintaining a clean working environmentClean equipment and perform routine maintenanceRole Specifications1+ years of directly related work experience operating various types of equipmentNACE Level 1 or 2 is requiredValid class 5 driver’s licence is requiredKnowledgeable in conventional and airless spray applicationsLocal to the Bonnyville, Cold Lake or St. Paul areaAble to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol testSkillsYou are safety focused when it comes to people and equipmentAble to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basisExperience with trouble shooting issues in the fieldAbility to work well in both independent and team environments and manage multiple tasks while working under minimal supervisionAdditional InformationThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
