The Senior Surgical Processor oversees the day-to-day operations of the MDRD department and provides functional supervision to the Surgical Processors. This position mentors, monitors, prioritizes and adjusts work for department staff. The Senior Surgical Processor supports orientation and training programs for new staff and provides input into the assignment of staff as a preceptor for students of the Sterile Processing Certification Program.
