Job Description

We operate and supply a network of more than 360 retail locations, an extensive 24-hour diesel-stop network and three wholly owned product import terminals. We also offer bulk fuel supply, oils and lubricants, fuel equipment solutions, customised fleet fuel card solutions and expert advice on fuel management and health and safety. Chevron is currently transitioning most Puma Energy branded service stations it operates across Australia to Caltex, a global brand owned by Chevron. More information about CAD is available at Australia Downstream — Australia.chevron.comCAD is seeking to appoint a Lubricants Supply Chain Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the performance of our warehousing partners in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin and Perth. In addition, the role will be responsible for tracking lubricants sales orders from the time they are raised to the time they are dispatched from the warehouse, ensuring regular stock takes are happening and investigating any discrepancies between stock take inventory levels and expected stock on hand. The person in this role is required to build strong relationships with many different stakeholders to achieve the goals of the Chevron Logistics Team.Additionally, the role’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Contract management of four different warehousing partners around Australia
  • Act as the operational focal point between Chevron Commercial Sales team, Customer Service Centre and the warehousing partner.
  • Ensure all warehousing partners operate safely and in accordance with Chevron warehousing standards.
  • Work through operational bottle necks with internal and external stakeholders that delay orders being despatched.
  • Reconciliation of warehousing invoices vs services received.
  • Reconciliation of stock takes at all warehousing locations.
  • Gather KPIs from warehousing partners and put improvement plans in place where necessary.
  • Monitor the timeliness and accuracy of order picking by all warehousing partners.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
  • A minimum of two years relevant logistics experience or job experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with SAP / ERP systems, desirable
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office suite
  • Contract management skills
  • Warehousing experience
  • High level of time management and strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data entry skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
