We offer a work environment where team members are truly valued, and have what they need to thrive in their role and make a meaningful impact.Position SummaryAn exciting opportunity exists in our Metals Division in Fort Saskatchewan for a Contracts Coordinator / Administrator.Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Contracts, the Contracts Coordinator / Administrator will be accountable for contract formation, contract administration, data analysis, and system updates in support of the sourcing and contracting process.Accountabilities- Responsible for contract formation, amendment and execution, including drafting, updating, reviewing and completing contract documents, and facilitating the approval process with support from Legal where appropriate.- Lead role for contract renewal, including monitoring expiring contracts, planning contract renewals, engaging external and internal stakeholders, amending contracts and updating systems and tools.- Update systems and tools in a timely manner upon contract implementation, amendment or price update. This includes the contract repository, contract database, and rate uploads..- Maintain and monitor contract documentation filing and systems to ensure proper records retention and effective contract management.- Support procurement strategy definition, strategic sourcing and supplier meetings with data collection and analysis, compilation of business requirements, and market intelligence.- Ensure all contract administration activities comply with current regulatory, legal and Sherritt policy requirements.- Develop and sustain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers of goodsamp; services, other commercial entities and customers.- Ensure contract documents and data are correct and up-to-date in Sherritt #39;s systems and tools (contract repository, contract database, ERP).- Establish and monitor key performance indicators both internally for the department and externally with all services providers with the view to optimization the performance of the global Supply Chain.- Seek continuous improvement opportunities through identifying optimized ways of working with vendors in collaboration with supply chain team members and end users.Qualifications and Skills- Professional certificate - SMT or equivalent years of experience in lieu of 3+ years in contract management or related experience- Working knowledge of contracting, supplier relationship management and stakeholder engagement best practices- Working knowledge of management information systems- Strong organizational skills- Strong written and verbal communications skills, with all levels of the organization- Data Analytics skills and experience with ability to collect, interpret and apply internal and external data and turn them into meaningful business information- Meeting facilitation skills- Conflict resolution/mediation skills- Ability to multi-task and prioritizeWhat Sherritt Can Offer You- Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits and retirement savings programs that holistically support employee wellbeing- Generous paid time off to support and empower employee work/life balance- Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities within a diverse, inclusive and dynamic work environmentApplication Deadline: The job posting will remain open until qualified candidates are selected.We thank all candidates for their application.
