Job Description

Our client specializes in Electrical Distributions and they are currently seeking an enthusiastic, detailed oriented and self-motivated Accounts Payable clerk to join their growing team!If you are looking for an opportunity to work with a great group of people and expand on your knowledge in this exciting industry, read on!Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and filing
  • Sort, verify, and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconcile invoices and assist with month end responsibility as required
  • Other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years’ experience working within Accounts Payable along with an education in Accounting or related discipline is well regarded
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills with experience in Excel and Word
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A calm and thoughtful attitude will ensure success in a fast-paced environment
  • A problem solver with strong attention to detail will allow you to comply with established processes and procedures
  • Must be proactive, people focused, with the ability to create strong relationships
