Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESamp; ACCOUNTABILITIES:· Organize and plan job start-up; review plans and specifications, and coordinate schedules· Ensure schedules are developed and maintained · Review delivery schedule of materials from projects’ manufacturers and suppliers· Plan and prioritize work, crews, and equipment one to two weeks in advance to ensure timely completions · Ensure workers have training, materials, and tools for the job tasks they are assigned· Conduct regular inspections of crew’s work to facilitate efficiency and any resolve issues· Ensure as-built drawings are up to date and current· Communicate regularly with PM, General Contractor, and employees regarding progress, targets · Provide communication with client about all issues positive or negative throughout the job· Ensure that tools and materials are transferred according to company policy between projects and shop · Ensure that all safety procedures are followed according to company and site policies· Paperwork; ensure all counts and progress reports are maintained; submit to office weekly; ensure timesheets approvals are submitted by due dates, use all forms provided to you, including WCB, tool box meeting, etc. · Responsible for Safety Traffic Accommodation plan being set up and utilizedRequirementsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:· Journeyman Electrician Certificate not required but given preference· CSTS· Class 5 Driver’s License Minimum· Leadership for Safety Excellence (or equivalent)· Strong preference given to candidates with:- URD Experience- Traffic Signal Experience- Power Linemen- Fall Protection- Ground Disturbance Level 2- Confined Space Entry/MonitoringBenefits
