Job Description

Blackline Safety is hiring a Client Success Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be based in Calgary and reporting to the Manager, Client Success. The Client Success Specialist plays a key role in maintaining positive client relationships along with aiding in the retention effots of our key clients. The Client Success Specialist will be involved in key account management tasks including customer service, relationship management, project management and implementation support. You will be working directly with Client Success Managers on our largest accounts supporting the accounts’ product adoption, utilization, expansion, and health.   • Work with the CSM and client account points of contact throughout the customer journey to effectively manage account renewal negotiations including creating appropriate quotations
  • Engage client accounts, record action items required to support account management and execute projects to support product optimization and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities inside the key account accounts and work with the CSM to makes sure we closed those opportunities for new business
  • Interpret customer concerns and mobilize the necessary internal resources in such a way that results in customer satisfaction while supporting the continuous improvement to our products and services
  • Understand the company’s product catalog, their application within customer accounts and be comfortable communicating the benefits of the distinctive features of Blackline’s products and services
  • Document all activities within the companies’ CRM (Customer Relatiionship Management) and other designated systems
  • Actively look for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Prerequisites
  • Proficient with the full MS Office suite, including Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application experience
  • Ability to consistently, and independently, apply project management principles, including collaboration with other teams, to fulfill account management tasks or other specially assigned projects
  • Proven administration skills, including proficient management of client requests, efficient organization of schedules and meetings,and adept handling of various administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow and operational effectiveness.
  • Strong knowledge of Blackline’s product and services
  • Functional expertise using PowerBi and HubSpot expertise
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and consistently meet goals
  • Proven ability to work within a team structure and collaborate when called upon
  • Confidence to present to clients both virtually and in face to face,in-person situations
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing client needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills
