Facilities and Maintenance CoordinatorOn behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator for a full-time permanent position in Calgary, AB.Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator - Job Details:Be the central point of contract for all things related to Corporate, Office services coordination.Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator - Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate office moves: space planning, supply assessments (move supplies/rental equipment), requirements (in-house or movers), liaise with security to book freight elevator during after hours projects, communicate with specific departments regarding moves, physically move furniture/supplies, supervise move crews, etc. Facilitate office repairs: ad hoc repairs (plumbing, stationery supplies, furniture/chairs, typewriters, door/door handles, locks);contact/book/liaise with appropriate vendors/repair companies if necessary; identify and proactively solve problems (with proper repair) before they become a nuisance/hazard. Execution of general office repairs and maintenance. Facilities management: maintain contact with Brookfield regarding lighting, HVAC, fire hazards, recycling, etc. Assist Senior Manager, Facilities and Office Services as required with any special projects/concerns. Occasionally assist staff to get materials to/from loading dock or parking areas (personal furniture, file materials going to trials/other offices, evidence).Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator - Mandatory SkillsExperience in an office services role in a Law Firm or other Professional Service Firm is an asset. Heavy lifting is required. Must be self-motivated, take initiative and able to organize tasks with little supervision. Proficient in data entry skills and good attention to detail. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, and prioritize competing needs within a tight timeframe. Displays poise, tact, professionalism, quality service and a “can do” attitude to internal members/departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors via electronic and print correspondence, over the telephone and in-person. Reliable, punctual and flexible. Willing to work overtime or on weekends as required. Able to work in a team environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills.
