Position Summary Responsible for designing and implementing cost efficient and effective technology solutions for the organization. This includes analyzing business requirements, researching, and recommending new technologies, and managing the development, testing, and deployment of new systems. Will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the organization #39;s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. This individual will also play a key role in planning, designing, and implementing new IT infrastructure projects and initiatives. This position will work closely with the IT Infrastructure Services Manager. Essential Functions

  • Participate in strategic thinking and planning exercises.
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Design and implement efficient and effective technology systems.
  • Research and recommend new technologies to improve system performance and functionality.
  • Manage the development, testing, and deployment of new systems.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of all systems, including architecture diagrams, system specifications, and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in the industry.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting servers, networks, and storage systems
  • Planning, designing, supporting and implementing new IT infrastructure projects and initiatives
  • Managing and monitoring IT infrastructure performance, capacity, and security
  • Identifying and resolving IT infrastructure issues and problems
  • Providing technical support and guidance to other IT team members
  • Other duties are assigned.
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud, virtualization, hardware, software, and networking.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex systems and solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards for systems architecture.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of security and data management best practices.
  • Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage teams and collaborate with other departments.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Expert level experience working with network security, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong timeamp; project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Ability to work on and successfully complete multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Delivery including ITIL v3 Certification.
