Our client,an Oil and Gas Midstream company, is looking for an Intermediate Project Coordinator to work on a1-year contractin Calgary, AB. Are you a skilled Project Coordinator with a background in capital projects and experience in the midstream or upstream business Do you thrive in a collaborative team environment and possess a strong commitment to accountability and effective communication If so, our client is looking for an Intermediate Project Coordinator to join our central team and play a vital role in supporting our expanding Project Controls, Document Control, and Estimating teams. About Us: Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization in the oil and gas midstream space. Their central team is responsible for overseeing and driving the planning and execution of capital projects within the midstream or upstream sectors. We value accountability, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in everything we do. Role Overview: As an Intermediate Project Coordinator, you will work closely with our client’s central team to compile, analyze, and present data that supports informed decision-making across various projects. You #39;ll contribute to the growth and success of our Project Controls, Document Control, and Estimating teams by providing essential support in resourcing activities and ensuring the efficient flow of information. In addition, you will engage in various tasks assigned and agreed upon by the team, contributing to the overall success of their projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyze data using tools such as Power BI to provide insights for efficient decision-making.
  • Support the expansion of Project Controls, Document Control, and Estimating teams by assisting in resourcing activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and information flow.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate project documentation and records.
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives and uphold a culture of safety throughout all projects.
  • Engage in problem-solving activities, offering valuable insights and solutions.
  • Embrace a strong team dynamic by valuing input from team members and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Speak up when potential issues or concerns are identified, fostering a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ethical practices, accountability, and doing what is right for the organization.
  • Continuously apply learning to improve project outcomes and personal professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-3 years or 6-8 years of experience directly supporting the planning and execution of capital projects within the midstream or upstream business.
  • Proficiency in using Power BI or similar data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to consult broadly with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of accountability, ethical behavior, and taking responsibility for outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to face uncomfortable situations with confidence.
  • A team player who actively contributes to a collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to seek clarity, ask questions, and provide feedback to enhance project processes.
