We are passionate about people transportation and have over 65 years of experience getting our clients Safely Home.The Marketingamp; Communications Specialist, in conjunction with top-tier support, develops and executes nationwide internal and external campaigns. Leveraging their marketing and communications knowledge, this individual is responsible for curating content for various B2B and B2C audiences. Responding to both immediate and strategic concerns, the Marketing and Communications Specialist is an action-oriented strategist that thrives on being a part of a supportive, fast-paced team.The Marketing and Communications Specialist supports Pacific Western Transportation by being an expert in engagement strategies for a variety of roles. From the corporate level to the front line, the Marketing and Communications Specialist wants to share our brand #39;s mission and our people #39;s excellence. They act as an internal agency, ensuring that company stakeholders receive the best recommendations and support. A successful applicant is an excellent communicator who will work closely with other communications and marketing team members, frontline staff, and representatives from different lines of business to ensure the best outcome. They provide high-quality service and solutions by working closely as a team with the rest of the organization and is seen as a trusted advisor.What you bring:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in Communications or Marketing
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Facebook and Google advertisements
  • Strong Adobe skills, specifically InDesign and Illustrator
  • Experience or knowledge of WordPress
  • Adept in CMS platforms such as Hootsuite
  • Experience working in MailChimp or similar mass emailing services
  • Strong communication and analytical skills: can synthesize the key points and articulate both the#39;what #39; and the#39;so what #39;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to speak to a variety of audiences
  • Customer Service focused - is tenacious about finding and delivering quality results for our internal and external clients
  • Problem solver who is comfortable building and improving processes and best practices
  • Have a growth mindset and are always looking to learn new things
  • Excellent at influencing through solid relationships, expertise, and data
What you #39;ll do:
  • Maintain the design, up-to-date content, and operation of multiple company websites/domains utilizing CMS platforms such as WordPress
  • Prepare and design various communications materials, including presentations, print and online advertising, website content, press releases, and newsletters
  • Promote employee engagement, awareness, and understanding by delivering innovative, informative, and consistent materials
  • Manage and monitor social media channels and online review platforms while ensuring brand standards are followed
  • Deliver messaging using various tools, including brochures, web, video, infographics, and social media
  • Analyze social engagement to inform future social marketing activities and pro-actively participate in the ideation and development of content and campaigns
  • Identify, develop, and execute communications strategies for key media contacts and customer references
  • Collaborate with internal business units to develop content calendars, promotional opportunities, creative messaging, and content creation
  • Create, design, and manage marketing communications activities to generate brand identity, drive opportunities, and engage the community
  • Research, write and edit stories for our internal app, social media, and other internal communications
  • Provide online customer support by responding to customer inquiries and reviews on relevant platforms
