You will report to the Director of Sales. This a remote position located in Calgary, Canada. The primary goals of this position include:As a sales manager, you are responsible for sustainable sales and business development of Gas and Process Centrifugal Compressors and Turbo-expanders within your assigned territory. The broader mission is to keep Atlas Copco “first in mind and first in choice”.

  • Sale of Atlas Copco Centrifugal Gasamp; Air compressors from multiple product companies.
  • Sale of Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Expanders
  • Create business plan to further develop the territory for new customers and applications especially in Hydrogen and CCUS emerging markets.
  • Planning and organizing of all sales functions.
  • Coordinate with marketing group and Market segment managers for implementing new products/applications campaigns.
  • Develop rapport with customers and key accounts.
  • Be able to demonstrate high integrity with a growth mindset.
  • Develop technical competence to prepare budget quotes with support of marketing and application engineering.
  • Develop effective sales strategies at both accounts and markets levels.
  • Control expenses while maximizing the sales effort
  • Participate in trade shows, technical forums, and conferences to represent Atlas Copco
  • Cross-border sales support with Atlas Copco global sales force.
  • Be able to use CRM to monitor and follow up projects to keep forecast (monthlyamp; quarterly)amp; projects reporting updated.
  • To comply with Safety Rules, Regulations and OSHA Requirements
To succeed, you will need
  • B.S. degree in Engineering discipline or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 7 years work experience in sales/marketing in customized and engineered Machinery related environment within gasamp; process or Energy markets
  • Team spirit and good communication skills
  • Ability to manage multi key customers and projects in a long cycle sale process.
  • Good understanding of Hydrogen, Carbon Capture, Renewable Energy, Chem/Petrochem, Oil/Gas, Air Separation market segments and Compressor/Expander applications in these market segments
