Job Description

Job Category: Innovation and Information Technology FYidoctors is looking for a Scrum Master to serve as a leader and change advocate for the adoption of the Agile mindset and methodology. The Scrum Master supports existing pods (and forms new pods as required) allowing them to work within an accelerated delivery model. They are focused on identifying and implementing different ways of working allowing the team to achieve their goals.What Will You Be Doing

  • Overseeing the teams implementation of Scrum, provides real-time guidance and leadership to pods.
  • Understanding the team #39;s place in the company’s Value Creation Priorities.
  • Building a framework wherein the team can improve continuously.
  • Contributing to establish and grow trust and respect between IT and business stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the team can meet their established commitments, ensuring all work is “visible quot;, manages metrics, and ensures that planning/requirements adapt to demandsamp; pod capacity.
  • Monitoring and managing team velocity and throughput, securing resources, removing, and escalating blockages.
  • Working with relevant engineering teams to ensure DevOps related activities occur as intended.
  • Identifying risks and dependencies, makes potential impacts visible to the right people and ensures risk reduction occurs.
  • Driving the pods efficiency and effectiveness, draws attention to performance breakdowns, facilitates pod improvement.
  • Leveraging retrospectives and other Scrum ceremonies to facilitate continuous team reflection and improvement.
As The Successful Candidate, You Have:
  • Minimum 5 years relevant technology experience, preferably with 3+ years’ experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience working within software delivery ecosystem.
  • 3+ years’ Agile experience.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Sciences, or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL foundation and IT Service Management.
  • Project management knowledge to work with large project teams.
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC).
  • Full bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
