--We are looking for operations technology leaders and consultants (Process Engineers, Technologists, Tech Savvy Operators, Consultants) who want to enable companies to transform digitally and to operate more efficientlyamp; profitably using leading-edge technology.About the teamOur team is based in Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver, focused on the Energy, Resourcesamp; Industrials (ER amp;I) space. We help our clients in the oil and gas, mining, and utilities space modernize and rethink their operational philosophies using the right technologies.What will your typical day look likeAs an integral part of the project team, delivering on clients’ initiatives throughout the project lifecycle. You will be interacting with clients across various activities, including:•Engineering data gathering and validation•Technical review of engineering documents (P amp;IDs, Equipment Data Sheets, etc.)•Applying RCM 2 and SAE JA1012 standards to developing and enriching foundational master data (Asset registry, hierarchy, criticality) •Development of asset maintenance strategies using FMEA and RCM approaches•Development of maintenance tasks and creation of logical work bundles•Providing direction to offsite / out-of-country practitioners•Integrating knowledge and recommendations from Subject Matter Experts (SME)•Enriching versions of asset master data elementsYou will have the opportunity to develop and take on increasing accountabilities of portions of project delivery and the creation/delivery of workshops and working sessions, including leading junior practitioners within the team.Other responsibilities will include:•Engagement Management: Support team leaders with engagement planning and scoping, facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels, and deliver on-time, high-quality engagement work products•Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain contact with clients, participate in business development activities and be an active member of pursuit teams while supporting proposal content development•Practice Development and Eminence: Support the creation of practical solutions and methodologies, and support industry and eminence events sponsored by the firmEnough about us; let’s talk about you.Enough about us, let’s talk about youYou are someone who has:•Undergraduate degree in Engineering with outstanding academic credentials•At least two years of work experience in one or more of the following industries: Miningamp; Metals, Energyamp; Chemicals, Utilitiesamp; Renewables, and/or Manufacturing OR consulting experience in any of the above-listed industries•Strong analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions•Ability to develop a business case through to implementation strategy•Familiarity or expertise with RCM 2 / SAE JA1012 standards is an asset•Hands-on experience working in an Operations or Maintenance setting is an asset•Familiarity or experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems such as SAP or Maximo is an asset•Proven theoretical and practical knowledge of energy operations, renewables, and equipment maintenance and reliability, is an asset•Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time to client-sites•Must be legally able to work in Canada - entering the USA and Chile to work on client assignments is an assetOur promise to our people: Deloitte is where potential comes to life.Be yourself, and more.We are a group of talented people who want to learn, gain experience, and develop skills.
