Job Description

Our large oil and gas client is seeking a Sr. Industrial Digital Product Owner to facilitate site adoption of a Control of Work/Permitting application related to Oil and Gas Operations to start ASAP until Dec 31, with the possibility of extension.Requirements:

  1. Must Have Skills:
  1. 8+ years in Oil and Gas Operations
  2. 5+ years experience as a Site Lead or Shift Supervisor
  3. 5+ years managing contractor activity with a paper permit process
  4. 1+ year experience utilizing a digital contractor permitting application (ideally Control of Work / Permit Vision/ e-vision)
Nice-to-have Skills:
  1. Proficiency in Jira
  2. Familiarity with the agile framework
Overview of Responsibilities:
  1. Organizing regular update meetings with key site management resources (for example, the Operations and Maintenance Teams) at sites to fully understand the existing paper permit process.
  2. Addressing key site stakeholder concerns at the site to help sites fully understand the effort required to transition from the current paper permit process to electronic permits going forwards.
  3. Writing user stories to create software enhancements.
  4. Creating a monthly Community of Practice to prioritize software enhancements with key Control of Work subject matter experts across various sites.
  5. Providing both virtual and in-person software application training.
  6. Providing on-site support to assist with go-live delivery.
