Main Duties: 1. Prepare and arrange pallets for finished product, packaging material (trays, trippers, lugs, boxes, etc.) and place in required areas for harvester use.2. Arrange garbage bins, in front of houses to prepare for daily harvest, protective coveralls for finished product; may use electric pallet jack or hand jack3. Assist in organizing and removing, packaging material during the day and at the end of the shift in accordance with GMP requirements.4. Finished product must be completed, palletized, scanned and sent to the pack house or cooler in 1.5 – 2 hours.5. General housekeeping duties; assist staff with cleaning of hallways during the day and at end of shift; remove all empty containers from the production area.6. Cleaning and sanitizing of mobile equipment and ensure equipment is free of all debris and damaged parts.7. Follow all prescribed safety rules and regulations and wear all equipment necessary to ensure compliance with HACCP and hygiene rules8. Ensure pallet jack and/or hand jack has been plugged in for recharging at end of shift and cleaned up.9. Other general labour duties as assignedQualifications: 1. Physically fit; able to bend, walk, stand, and lift 10-20 lbs.2. Must be safety conscious3. Able to work quickly and efficiently; keeping up with harvesters is essential4. Able to use hand jack; must pass applicable safety training5.
