Job Description

Are you looking to join a collaborative team Do you have experience pipefitting and with shutdowns and turnarounds, are you looking for temporary work If your answer is yes then look no more, we are your Clear Choice!!ClearStream is looking for Journeyman Pipefitters that can work independently, that will be working directly with turnaround managers and other pipefitters doing layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.Please note these are temporary roles starting January 28th and going for 5-10 days. Location for this client will be around Carseland, AB so local candidates to these areas will be preferred.What you’ll be doing:

  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
  • Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation, as required.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position.
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
  • Perform other duties as required.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
  • Journeyman Pipefitter certificate (Red Seal if out of province certificate)
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions
  • Ability to do careful and exacting work
  • Must have your own transportation and be able to travel to client site
  • CSTS-2020 (online)
