Job Description

ClearStream is looking for Journeyperson Pipefitters that can work independently, that will be working directly with Maintenance and project managers and other pipefitters doing layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.Please note these are temporary roles starting ASAP until October 15th at Carseland, AB.What you’ll be doing:

  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
  • Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation, as required.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position.
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Journeperson Pipefitter certificate (Red Seal if out of province certificate)
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions
  • Ability to do careful and exacting work
  • Must have your own transportation and be able to travel to client site
  • CSTS-2020 (online)
What we offer:
  • Competitive Pay rate
  • $50/day Completion bonus
  • Benefit program over +300 hours
  • 6 and 1 schedule for turnaround; 10 hrs/day
  • LOA $140.00/day
  • Day and night shift available ($2.50/hr night shift premium)
