Job Description

If you have a safety-first mindset, you are a team player who delivers on your commitments, we want you to apply.We are looking for Quality Control Inspectors to join our team in Carseland starting ASAP until October 2022.What you’ll be doing:

  • Perform visual and physical checks on final assemblies, including welds, materials, and flange faces.
  • NDE coordination, including identification of welds requiring NDE.
  • Ensure that all relevant information has been captured, including welding procedures, welder ID, NDE and redlining.
  • Maintain Quality documents according to established Quality manual and procedures.
  • Create and ensure compliance of ITPs.
  • Effective transfer of Quality related information to the Turnover Coordinator.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
  • Knowledge of code requirements both ASME and CSA an asset.
  • CSA W 178.1 Level I an asset.
  • Technical Education (WET or MET) or Journeyman certification an asset.
  • Strong understanding of jurisdictional regulatory requirements for Boiler and Pressure vessels.
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
  • Valid and up to date safety tickets: CSO, H2S Alive Standard First Aid, Clean driver’s abstract.
