This includes private healthcare for all employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Sales and Service ManagerThe role of the Service and Sales Manager is to lead an engaged and motivated customer facing team to drive business growth and improve customer service.Working closely with the branch management team, you will be required to build a customer and people centric environment whilst supporting branch operations and ensuring services are being delivered in accordance with customers’ needs.To apply for the role, you need to have had previous experience of leading and coaching a team, have a strong commercial orientation, a broad knowledge of personal financial services or banking and have previously worked in a retail environment.In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for leading a customer facing team and supporting their performance through high quality coaching and training, tailoring your approach to meet individuals needs
  • Work alongside the branch management team to maintain the operational effectiveness of the branch, delivering a customer centric approach and driving growth across all segments
  • Deliver performance towards the wider branch plan
  • Embed effective controls to minimise operational losses, whilst maintaining high levels of customer service
RequirementsTo be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Relevant industry experience including knowledge of Wealth & Personal Banking is desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated the ability to build effective networks both internally and externally to create opportunities for others to work collaboratively
  • A track record of coaching others to improve performance, meeting individual and business goals
  • Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others and negotiating effectively
  • A track record of effectively handling complex sales, to meet the needs of demanding customers, in a fair and ethical way
  • A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better
  • Experience of making prompt and practical business decision, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes
  • A highly motivated self-starter with an adaptable management style and experience of developing yourself and others
