Job Description

ResponsibilitiesTHIS IS A WORK FROM HOME/REMOTE MINE CAMP HYBRID. CANDIDATES WILL NEED TO TRAVEL TO A REMOTE SITE IN NORTHERN ONTARIO EVERY SECOND WEEK.Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Supply Chain Superintendent, and Procurement team in all aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure that the day-to-day supply chain business results are achieved
  • Process all Month End requirements for Finance and Supply Chain
  • Generate documents and deliverables to support coordination and interfacing between contractors (i.e., RRP’s, Contract Packages, etc)
  • Maintain the Local SAP Catalogue for Inventory Items; adjusting Max/Mins and information as required
  • Receiving invoices from Contracts ensure that paperwork matches Contract, and that all paperwork has been correctly authorized
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with logistics requirements and resolve issues with service providers
  • Run various reports; recording and subsequently exporting data to Excel when required
  • Assist in processing & validating Contractor’s application for payment certificates
  • May be responsible for prequalifying contractors and/or suppliers, implementing additional contracting processes and managing the tender, evaluation, and award processes
  • Process & validate contracts and invoices while ensuring accuracy and authorisation
  • Responsible for Sole Source justification as required
  • All other duties assigned
Key Qualifications:
  • Understand data cleansing requirement
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Very good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
  • Basic knowledge of SAP, warehouse definitions, purchasing and procurement is considered an asset
  • Previous experience in administration or data entry considered an asset
