Job Description

Role: Administrative SpecialistLocation: Head Office - 55 Head Street, Suite 401, Dundas, ON, L9H 3H8We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a genuine love of helping others! This role involves a variety of HR support and admin tasks, assisting with operations at our Head Office, and generally helping to ensure the success of the team as well as their own.Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of People Operations in the execution various HR-related tasks
  • Manage the inventory and presentation of office snacks and drinks, maintaining a high level of excellence in offerings to the team
  • Anticipate roadblocks and work to mitigate their impact; ultimately assisting where required in expediting resolutions and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation
  • Assist with the coordination and tracking of vehicle assignments, use and maintenance by employees
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of office supplies and order and track as needed, as well as coordinate with other locations
  • Handle phone calls, e-mails and inquiries and ensure that queries are directed to the proper person
  • Assist in the coordination of event and catering arrangements as required
  • Manage the calendars, schedules, appointments and required travel for the designated teams, if needed
  • Other operational duties as required
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Experience in administration in a professional environment required
  • A Human Resources program in progress will be considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Working knowledge of and experience using Google Drive and Gmail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and aptitude to learn other software tools
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and maintain a positive workspace
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to receive both verbal and written instruction
  • A strong sense of personal integrity
