Job Description

OBT- G2 Oil Burner TechnicianGo Industries is looking for OBT- G2 Oil Burner Technician to join our prestigious Heating and cooling client full time. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial spaces in the Hamilton area. This is a greatopportunity for a licensed oil burner technician that is looking for a rewarding career.Responsibilities:

  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required
  • Measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment
  • Install and maintain gas meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter
  • Install, maintain and service gas heating units and their components, such as burners, valves, and automatic controls
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Prepare reports on work performed and condition of facilities
  • Advise clients regarding standards, safety features and maintenance of gas units and systems
  • May repair and service gas and oil appliances and related equipment.
  • Will be required to install but not limited to furnaces, Ac units, tankless water heaters, boilers, ductless mini splits and heat pumps.
  • Must be able to complete ductwork transitions and fabrications independently.
Qualifications:
  • OBT 2 Oil Burner License with a G2 License.
  • Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract.
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to service clients in a 24/7 environment with on-call responsibilities.
  • Proven computer literacy skills.
Pay rate
  • Up to $ 40.00 for the perfect candidate
