Job Description

You can learn more about Worksite Safety and our products / services here: https://www.youtube.com/watchv=4FpJSm9We4oThe Marketing Associate (Bilingual) role is highly collaborative, with a focus on translation of marketing assets, copywriting, and the ongoing optimization of the user experience. This role offers significant opportunity for both career and skills growth based on performance and willingness to learn. This role requires diligence, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to self-manage multiple projects and timelines.Your time will largely be spent working with the marketing team to translate English marketing materials for a French speaking audience to better serve our growing customer base in Quebec.The primary competencies required to be successful in this position are as follows:

  • Strong French language skills
  • A desire to learn
  • Copywriting & editing
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with various stakeholders across cross-functional teams
  • A desire to understand and help your audience based on data driven insights
Your role will be primarily focused on the following: English to French Translation (50%):
  • Translation of product pages, blog posts, ad copy, & marketing assets
  • Maintaining French language advertising campaigns (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc...)
  • Occasionally working with other teams (Advisory services, instructional design) to proof read French language content.
Content Maintenance & Marketing Strategy (40%):
  • Deploying updates to product & service pages
  • Developing content strategies informed by self-guided research and data-driven insights (SEO)
  • Working with subject matter experts (as an editor and translator) to develop content that is focused on providing value to your target audience
Professional Development & Product Training (10%):
  • Participating in Worksite Safetys training programs to gain first hand experience with product catalogue, market, and the problems that those products solve for our end-users
  • Participate in Continuing Education courses and industry events to improve/refine and learn new skill sets
Compensation: $55,000/year - $65,000/yearQualifications:
  • Must be fluently bilingual (French/English) with an emphasis on French.
  • Current/Valid digital marketing certifications are an asset. Eg: Google/FB/Bing Ads, Google Analytics, Google My Business, Google Data Studio etc...
  • Experience with technical aspects of SEO is an asset
  • Excellent writing, language, and visual communication skills
  • Experience writing engaging content for humans first, and search engines second.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
