Server â€“ Private Golf ClubResponsibilities

Work with Events Captain and Team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests expectations
Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return
Complete Events/Weddings service duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools
Cleaning all equipment areas, locking equipment doors, etc.
Set up stock and maintain work areas
Take orders from customers, input orders in Jonas, and obtain payment
Serve food, coffee and other beverages
Work during Events and Weddings including busing, cleaning and resetting tables
Serve alcoholic beverages
Assist with preparation and serving events/banquets
Report and Manage Beverage Inventory
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Follow all safety and security procedures and regulations while performing daily duties
Follow all policies, procedures and rules as stated in the Employee Handbook
Follow departmental policies and procedures and service standards
Attend scheduled staff meetings, training, and orientation sessions
Work and communicate in a professional and ethical manner with colleagues assisting where necessary to develop team spirit and to achieve standards of work and guest care
Maintain standards of punctuality, uniform and personal hygiene as required by Club

Required Skills

Smart Serve certified required
Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner
General knowledge of food and food handling techniques
Approachable, pleasant, polite, fast
Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysÂ·
Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision Â·
Must be able to understand both oral and written EnglishÂ·
Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
