  • The Incentive Program consists of an additional $80/day for this position - paid weekly. To receive incentive, "days worked" will be defined as minimum 4 hrs of work on site.
  • The Retention Program offers an additional $25/day, paid by January 31st, 2023 (or following corresponding pay period), or upon release by the employer (end of project).
  • Temporary Travel Allowance Program effective until January 31st, 2023.
For more details, apply today!Jardeg is recruiting a Shovels Expeditor to join the site mine maintenance team at IOL Kearl Oil Sands. This position is on a 14/14 rotation, 11.5 hours per day. Charter flights are provided from Calgary and Edmonton as well as bussing from Fort McMurray. Camp accommodations are provided for those on shift.Responsibilities:The Successful individual would provide support to the shovels maintenance group by moving a variety of support gear and shovel components. The main purpose of this is to keep ahead of our shovel moves and have materials delivered in a safe and timely manner. We would supply the truck and any needed gear to complete this role.Minimum Requirements:
  • Class 1 driver license with air brakes
  • Be qualified to operate a variety of equipment such as a Manlift, Forklifts. Loaders, Telehandlers and Excavators
  • Telehandler certification and experience
  • Loader experience
  • Boom truck (Truck Mounted Crane) certification and experience
  • Be able to pass an Imperial Oil training assessment
  • Mining experience would be an asset
  • Be able to take direction from the shovel supervisor, work independently and follow all site safety standards
  • Ariel Work Platform (AWP) certification and experience
  • Fall protection certification and experience
  • Basic Rigging Certification
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification
Preferred Requirements:
  • Forklift certification and experience
  • Excavator experience (no certification required)
  • First Aid (will allow a rotation expectation if needed)
  • Experience in an open pit mining environment
