Job Description

Company:Finning CanadaNumber of Openings:1Worker Type:PermanentPosition Overview:Reporting to the RI Wear Products – Product Manager you are responsible for measuring and sales of undercarriage and GET to existing accounts.This position has accountability for the growth of aftermarket Finning undercarriage and GET products sold to an assigned customer base. Using a consultative selling approach, this person will build profitable long term customer relationship by selling products and services to support the management of the customers’ fleet, consequently maximizing productivity and reducing down time and cost per hour.

  • Build a strong customer and internal relationships.
  • Measuring and sales of UC and GET to all assigned customers.
  • Liaison between customer and Finning Wear Products - Product Manager.
  • Offer assistance to our customers and sales staff in product application, feature / benefit, and understanding customer repair options.
  • Work closely with the internal Parts and Service Dept. with regards to proper inventory, packaging, application and communicate forecast information, etc.
  • Provide technical commodity support that assists your customers to understand the value of our product offering.
  • Manage any tests related to Caterpillar Wear Products and competitive products.
  • Monitor Vendor manage inventory at customer sites
  • Thorough knowledge of Finning health and safety policies and procedures
  • Sound and current knowledge of undercarriage and GET products
  • Product warranty knowledge
Experience:
  • 5+ Years experience with Undercarriage and GET products
  • Strong Commercial Aptitude
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication and presentation skills
  • Very Strong computersoftware skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, Caterpillar Software)
  • Leadership, motivating and mentorship skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Time management, prioritization and independent problem solving skills
