Greenstone Gold Mines L.P. is a 60/40 joint venture partnership between Equinox Gold and Orion Mine Finance Group formed for the purpose of the joint ownership and development of the Greenstone Gold Property including the Greenstone Mine located on a historical mine site in the Geraldton-Beardmore Greenstone belt in Ontario. The Greenstone Mine is managed directly by a dynamic and experienced Owner’s team, with an estimated $1.5 Billion investment over the three-year construction and commissioning phase, and a 14-year operating life of mine.Greenstone Mine is seeking a Support Loader & Wheeled Dozer Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Mine Operations Supervisor, the Support Loader & Wheeled Dozer Operator is responsible for safe and productive operation of support loaders and wheel dozers, varying in operating weight.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: Safely operate and maneuver assigned heavy equipment around the mine. Use the equipment according to operating practices to move materials such as overburden, sand, gravel, blasted rock, snow, product totes and various supplies around the mine site. Use the equipment according to operating practices to maintain roads, berms, load aggregates, remove spill rock and perform shovel clean up when necessary. Monitor gauges, and other indicators to make ensure the heavy equipment is working properly, report discrepancies to dispatch. Perform Field Level Risk Assessments. Maintain a high level of housekeeping as well as refilling all fluids as required. Conducting pre-operational checks of the equipment. Perform a walk-around inspection before, during, and after every shift. Complete logbooks and daily reports on delays, productions, and safety issues. Use two-way-radio, horn, and light signals to communicate with other operators and ensure safety.
