Cook – Term PositionWe are currently seeking a Cook to provide meals at our camps in Juniper, New Brunswick. In this role you will be responsible for providing daily meals for 15 to 25 people. You might also be required to follow our operation team to our secondary location depending the ongoing project. The work season will be from April 12 to October 8, 2021.Responsibilities:All aspects of preparation and serving of daily meals, including, but not limited to:Main courseBaking fresh bread and rollsDesserts and pastriesProvide high quality food and ensure consistency in the preparation and presentationFollow and cook recipes from scratchWork independently and as part of a teamAdhere to Food Safety and WHMIS standardsMaintain proper inventory, ordering groceries and light suppliesHousekeeping of kitchenQualifications:2-5 years of relevant experienceHigh school diploma required; post-secondary education in the culinary field would be considered an assetFlexibility regarding duties, procedures, and hours (including weekends)Ability to perform physically demanding tasksAbility to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic working environment with multiple tasks and prioritiesStrong attention to detailExcellent customer service skills with a pleasant and professional demeanor; helpful and flexiblePossess a valid driver’s licence and own transportationFood Safety Certification and First Aid an assetThe Company:At J.D.
