You will be fully supported as you continue to build your skills, support a schedule driven project where the emphasis will be on people, client interface, development and management.The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions listed below with the overall objective of consistently providing top-quality, non-technical administrative support and to maintain high standards of excellence, while ensuring solid customer relationships.

  • Work under working supervision and perform a variety of clearly defined tasks and administrative functions, including written and verbal communication
  • Perform general office duties to include mail distribution and creating and maintaining department files
  • Network with other administrative assistants to strengthen relationships and ensure coverage during absences
  • Manage payroll activities and ensures that all payroll records are managed in accordance with company policy
  • Other duties as assigned
To be Considered Candidates:Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.Basic Job Requirements
  • Performs general administrative duties that may include handling confidential matters, maintaining personnel records, monitoring and
preparing time sheets, monitoring costs charged to the department/project, keeping budget records, preparing expense vouchers, makingappropriate travel arrangements, and coordinating meetings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Analyze and understand the activities being performed with respect to payroll and company policy
Other Job Requirements
  • Participate in department meetings, training, and functions
  • Serve as a Company representative to external clients
  • Contribute to and promote the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
  • Manage payroll activities and ensures that all payroll records are managed in accordance with company policy
  • Demonstrate understanding of and proficiency in automated payroll applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent preferred
  • intermediate to advanced computer and software skills to include the use of word processing , spreadsheets, and electronic presentations
  • Basic interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with badging systems, Timecard System and basic PC skills to include Microsoft software and
  • 2+ years of union payroll experience
  • 2+ years of experience in construction office support
