Job Description

DEPARTMENT: OperationsLOCATION / REGION: Kitimat, BCSCHEDULE: 14 days on/7 days off, 10 hours/dayREPORTS TO: Project Controls Manager, LNG CanadaALTRAD VALUES: Courage | Respect | Humility | Solidarity | ConvivialityKEY OBJECTIVES:

  • Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work whilst carrying out the duties of this role in line with Company values to achieve long-term success.
  • Ensure performance is in line with relevant Altrad documents and procedures (to ensure we deliver upon minimum requirements to the highest standards).
  • The Altrad brand and reputation are enhanced with an aim of being a “Supplier of Choice” for our Client.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all key stakeholders.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
  • Develop and maintain a detailed P6 schedule based on information provided by the workface planning and construction teams.
  • Ensure that project schedule decisions can be made based upon accurate and timely schedule and progress performance information.
  • Liaison with the Construction team, from a planning and commercial perspective, to ensure effective project management is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead regular planning review meetings with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure that the current plan is achievable.
  • Generate required daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Any other tasks as directed by the Project Controls Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum five years of proven experience in a similar role is essential.
  • PMP designation is considered an asset.
  • Sound knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry particularly within a Project environment.
  • Sound knowledge of painting, insulation and fireproofing.
  • Proficient in the use of Primavera P6.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize your workload utilizing effective time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, with a wide range of people.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Suite.
