Job Description

Civeo Pacific Northwest Employees LP is currently looking to fill a position for a Camp Attendant at our site located at Kitimat. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and laundry rooms. Reporting to the Head Camp Attendant, the successful candidate will work 14 days on and 7 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays.Key Responsibilities

  • General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing within cleaning target times
  • Making beds and changing sheets as per the schedule
  • Cleaning washers, dryers and laundry room, including the areas behind machines and removing lint from dryer after every cycle
  • Sanitizing washrooms including shower stalls, shower mats, sinks, toilets, and floor after each shift change
  • Review the Daily Room Allocation sheet and performs any special needs or requests that may arise day to day
  • Report any damage, theft and abandoned articles to the Supervisor
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company safe work practices and standard operating procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping position is an asset
  • Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50 lbs
