Job Description

Maintenance Scheduler Contract: 6-month contract with possibility of extensionKitimat, British ColumbiaOur client a global mining client is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler – Pot Start up for a 6-month contract opportunity.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the weekly work management meetings, scheduling of outside contractors, and providing relevant job package
  • Maintaining details of parts orders and tracking them to site
  • Producing weekly schedules that are practical with all obligations, timelines, and all parts and equipment available
  • Developing and refining the area maintenance forecast
  • Prioritizing and managing maintenance outstanding work logs
  • Acting with humility, honesty, and integrity and a commitment to safety
  • Coverage of Planner role during vacancy
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Organization – Time management
  • Proficiency in SAP PM module
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • A strong safety mindset
  • Trades or engineering background preferred
