We are looking for two Maintenance Schedulers to ensure all weekly maintenance activities are scheduled, and materials kitted and staged, to ensure the efficiency of the maintenance crew and the reliability of the equipment. The key success to this position will be the applicant’s ability to manage multiple resources/requests, exercise sound decision-making, and coordinate maintenance work with all operational areas in the committed timeframes.This is a great opportunity for an organized and team-oriented individual to advance the maturity of the maintenance team and coordinate all maintenance work for their respective area.We are an open, connected global team that includes some of the industry’s best and brightest minds. With a global reach, the opportunities to develop and grow your career are broad and exciting.Reporting to the area Asset Management Technical Coordinator, and working a desirable Monday to Friday schedule, you will be responsible for:

• Acting with humility, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to safety. Demonstrating commitment and compliance to all safety policies and procedures to ensure zero injuries or incidents
• Prioritising work with the Supervisors, Superintendents, and external departments, utilising your considerable stakeholder and relationship building skills
• Producing multi-discipline weekly maintenance schedules which are practical, with all obligations identified, with accurate timelines and all necessary materials and equipment available
• Prioritizing and managing maintenance outstanding work
• Providing KPI data showing maintenance performance to various stakeholder.
• Facilitating the work management meetings; scheduling of outside contractors; and providing relevant job packages
• Applying shutdown management best practices
• Working closely with a variety of stakeholders across the organization to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, and ensure there are effective, appropriate risk management strategies in place.

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Experience with Maintenance Planning or Scheduling in an industrial setting
• Experience using SAP CMMS system
• A tertiary qualification in a Maintenance-related field is preferred (i.e., Journeyperson trade designation, engineering, technologist, MMP, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
• Understanding of maintenance work management processes
• Valid Driver’s License

It will also be beneficial if you have:

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• Microsoft Projects
