Job Description

You will be fully supported as you continue to build your skills, support a schedule driven project where the emphasis will be on people, client interface, development and management.

  • Plan and direct the work activities of all involved crafts for assigned construction crafts in alignment with available engineering deliverables, tools, construction equipment, and materials
  • Directly support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities
  • Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
  • Adhere to and support Fluors Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
  • Other duties as assigned
To be Considered Candidates:Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.Basic Job Requirements
  • Provide input for step listing development for mechanical pipe installations
  • Perform site verifications to ensure job packaging is according to field requirements.
  • Plan and develop installation work packages for the execution team.
  • Identify resources required for related scopes including parts, labor, equipment, materials, special tools, procedures, critical lifts, documents, and specialty contract services.
  • Work with the execution supervisors to assign level of complexity to the jobs.
  • Ensure all necessary updates and revisions to procedures and other documents are done.
  • Perform Scoping Sessions to identity and break down larger construction work packages into smaller installation work packages.
  • Work closely with the scheduling team to align installation work packaging planned start and planned finished dates.
  • Package material components and manage reservations for site delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred five plus years with planning and supervision experience.
  • Steam-fitting red seal trade certificate with proven knowledge of mechanical trade in a construction planning position.
  • Must be mechanically proficient and have a good understanding of mechanical piping systems.
  • Knowledge of P6 scheduling, construction work practices, performance measurement,
  • Sound knowledge of computer software and applications is preferred such as Smart Construction, Navisworks, McPlus, excel, Microsoft word and O3.
  • Possess excellent organization, proactive mindset, time management, and communication skills.
