  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills that inspire and energize people and create a clear sense of direction and priorities.

You will use your expertise to:
  • Help shape ways of working through end-to-end optimization and risk management, with focus on Human Performance Based Safety Philosophy in relation to various modes of transport within the Logistics competency.
  • Provide compelling performance feedback driving disciplined execution to deliver reliable, predictable results
  • Help the businesses build Logistics improvement plans and provide support to the execute team
  • Have a strong passion for transportation safety, with special focus on road safety.
  • Experience with SPMT’s (Self-Propelled Modular Transporters) / Module transportation is a critical requirement .
  • Construction Project Phase experience with onsite transportation.
  • Ability to drive data analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong communications, collaborative, networking, and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of all transport related safety manuals and guides with technical road safety competencies.
  • Ability to pull on other Subject Mater Experts to drive strong safety management plans.
  • Familiar with Transport Canada and Work Safe B.C requirements as it relates to various modes of transport.
  • Ability to carry out investigations, audits and assurance, champion the sharing of best practices.
  • Comfortable with taking on additional Supply Chain tasks to help drive performance at site.
This role requires that you:
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role related to Module Transportation including experience with SPMTs (Self-Propelled Modular Transporters)
  • Know that this role is based in Kitimat and that Temporary housing will be provided ( incl family & pet friendly accommodation)
  • LNG Canada Temporary Relocation policy will apply
  • Know that as part of LNG Canada’s commitment to protect the health and safety of its personnel and the communities in which it operates, LNG Canada requires all Canada-based employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. LNG Canada will consider accommodation requests from individuals in accordance with applicable human rights legislation.
  • Know that this is not a rotating Fly-in , Fly out role.
  • This is direct hire role with benefits, (Not a Contractor role).
  • Work 50hrs of work, not necessarily every Saturday and Sunday off, some rotating weekend work coordinated with site team.
  • Role is approximately 24 months
  • Are willing to comply with LNGC’s drug-free and harassment-free work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Undergo a pre-placement medical assessment of your fitness for duty, a background check and Pre-Site Access testing for alcohol and specified drugs.
  • Be willing to work in all weather conditions, including heavy snowfall and periods of heavy rain when required.
  • Have a Valid Driver’s license
