Come join the team making Canadian history! About the Role We are looking for someone who understands buildings! We will need a focal within the LNGC team to ensure that our on-site teams receive an optimal experience as they occupy our new non-process buildings.You will be responsible for the relationship management of our residential contracts, day to day operations, maintenance, and administrative work. You will also be a part of the team that first greets our new joiners to the region and supports their comfortable move into their new temporary accommodations.This energizing role will have a focus on providing a range of facilities management support and coordination services within Residential, Corporate, and Site environments. The successful candidate of this role will foster positive and collaborative relations across operational teams and various departments, manage and support stakeholder expectations, with a safety-first focus while providing exceptional customer service. To succeed with us in Real Estate and People Logistics team, we need your enthusiasm to:

  • Provide front-facing support to employees on site regarding facilities
  • Engage and support the Maintenance team in operation of site facilities
  • Display a strong positive attitude to manage change and improvement in our processes, ways of working and our overall performance.

  • Use your ability to utilize flexible thinking with well-developed problem solving skills
  • Work well independently, identifying areas where improvements can be made

You will use your expertise to:
  • Support the delivery of a safe, secure, comfortable environment that cares for LNGC staff and embedded personnel engaged in construction, commissioning and start-up of LNGC Plant.
  • Engage and manage contractors in both site and accommodation maintenance work scopes
  • Support the development of and manage preventative maintenance plans
  • Support the efficient management of Company Provided Housing through ongoing development and implementation of strategies including maintenance, budgeting, and acting as interface in the relocation process.
  • Coordinate maintenance of company provided accommodations, including contractors completing repairs and internal management of furnishings.
  • Real Estate focal pre- and post-handover of non-process buildings from EPC contractor
  • Provide visible HSSE leadership and management of local environment to deliver Goal Zero, Top Quality Delivery and contractual compliance
To be successful, you will have:
  • 5+ years’ experience in Property Management, Facility Operations, or a similar field
  • Commercial construction handover experience
  • Experience in communications and business writing
  • The ability to work well within a team environment with demanding timelines and deliveries
  • The ability to manage stakeholders, internally and externally
  • The energy to bring a continuous improvement mindset to processes and work to identity efficiencies and opportunities
  • The capacity at times to work outside of regular hours (evenings, weekends)
  • Business and/or Management education considered an asset as well as experience within commercial or residential real estate sector.
This role requires that you:
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
  • Know that this role supports the project and will end approximately 30 October 2025.
  • This is a Direct Hire role with benefits, not a contractor role.
  • Role is located in Kitimat,
  • Know that we will provide Temporary accommodation for the successful candidate not residing in Kitimat. The LNG Canada Temp relocation policy will apply, this includes Terrace residents. This is not a fly in fly out role. Must be willing to temporary relocate to Kitimat.
  • Work 40 hrs. per week Monday to Friday, and at times responding to call outs
  • Are willing to comply with LNGC’s drug-free and harassment-free work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Undergo a pre-placement medical assessment of your fitness for duty, a background check and Pre-Site Access testing for alcohol and specified drugs.
  • Physical demands: This role involves manual labour in relation to company provided home management reassembling furniture. An interest is a must.
  • Use of personal vehicle is required, LNGC offers reimbursement for KMs.
  • Must have a valid and current drivers license
  • Know that this role can be on-call during certain situations and will be a responder in an emergency or maintenance situations.
