About the RoleThe Real Estate Accommodations Coordinator will fulfill smooth transitions for employees relocating to the Kitimat region.LNG Canada is seeking a motivated service orientated professional to join the Real Estate and People Logistics team with residential accommodation scopes. This energizing and people focused role will have a focus on providing top quality experiences for our new joiners to Kitimat.The successful candidate of this role will foster positive and collaborative relations within and across operational teams and various departments. Remit will include managing stakeholder expectations, with a safety-first focus while providing exceptional customer service.To succeed with us in the Real Estate and People Logistics team, we need your enthusiasm to:

  • Courage to remain steadfast on decisions in challenging environments and with challenging stakeholders
  • Be well versed in Kitimat as a community and love showcasing the region
You will use your expertise to:
  • Provide top tier experience for relocators to Kitimat, including housing tours, town tours, and guidance on services in region
  • Execute the delivery of a safe, secure, comfortable environment that cares for LNGC staff and embedded personnel engaged in construction, commissioning, and start-up of LNGC Plant
  • Collaborate with the Venture Lead in the efficient management of Company Provided Housing through ongoing development and implementation of strategies to support temporary relocations including maintenance, budgeting, and acting as interface in the relocation process
  • Development correspondence, policies, and procedures that support employees relocating to region
  • Provide visible HSSE leadership and management of local environment to deliver Goal Zero, Top Quality Delivery and contractual compliance
  • Maintain accommodation tracker
To be successful, you will have:
  • 5+ years’ experience in Hospitality industry or a similar customer-focused field
  • Experience in property management, facility management, or logistics considered an asset
  • Experience in communications, policy development, and business writing considered an asset
  • Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience to interact calmly with people who may be experiencing relocation stress
  • Experience inputting data, and comfortable in Excel spreadsheets
  • The ability to work well within a team environment but also independently, under demanding timelines and deliveries
  • The ability to manage stakeholders, internally and externally
  • The energy to bring a continuous improvement mindset to processes and work to identity efficiencies and opportunities
  • The capacity at times to work outside of regular hours (evenings, weekends)
  • Enjoys being the “go to person” and use problem solving skills.
  • Know when to escalate to Real Estate team for support and have the courage to say no
Business and/or Management education considered an asset as well as experience within Human Resources function. This role requires that you:
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
  • Work Location: Kitimat
  • Work Schedule: This role is expected to work 8/hr. per day (40 hrs./week) Monday to Friday. Evenings and weekends may be required to support varying schedules of travel of new joiners.
  • Know that role will end approximately September 2025. This is a full-time role with benefits, this not a contractor role.
  • Use of personal vehicle is required, LNGC offers reimbursement for KMs.
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Are willing to comply with LNGC’s drug-free and harassment-free work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Undergo a pre-placement medical assessment of your fitness for duty, and Pre-Site Access testing for alcohol and specified drugs.
