Job Description

Securiguard is looking for Security Guards for a short term industrial project in a remote location. This is a great opportunity for those looking for well paid, short term work who are open to travel to the beautiful North Coast.Wages: starting at $252 per day (based on a 12 hour shift) plus travel expenses.Who we are:Securiguard Services Limited has been at the forefront of the asset protection arena for almost 50 years by being a leading-edge innovative security and safety solutions provider. Securiguard has proven expertise in deploying security and safety personnel in a variety of industries including Corporate, Retail, Property Management, Industrial, Aviation, Marine, Government, Educational, and Industrial/Resource Projects and has the largest and highest accredited K9 detection and screening division in Canada.With the ability to service clients across Canada including major centers, small towns, and remote locations by air, land, or sea, our team of 3000+ strong security and safety professionals, make people feel safe by offering a comprehensive selection of safety and security services and solutions.What would you do:

  • Observe and report suspicious activity, and report security breaches
  • Respond to incident/emergency situations and follow protocol
  • Provide perimeter security coverage
  • Provide access control and ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site
  • Patrolling of designated areas in an outdoor environment
  • Radio check ins and security report writing duties
  • Provide a visual security presence - detecting and deterring unauthorized persons
  • Coordinating and liaising with the police or emergency personnel when required
  • Adhere to Securiguards core Values, Vision, Mission statement
What would you bring:
  • Valid BC Security License
  • Previous security experience is an asset
  • Class 5 Drivers License with a clean driving abstract and claims history
  • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort working in a wilderness setting
