Job Description

We are looking for a Branch Manager to join our team in Kitimat! In this exciting role the successful incumbent will be responsible for day to day operations of the branch while maximizing profitability and maintaining the highest level of service. Other duties of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop new and existing business opportunities in local markets
  • Plan and implement staffing schedules based on demands
  • Hire, supervise, train, develop, motivate and evaluate the performance of all staff
  • Establish, communicate, monitor and update objectives for staff consistent with Company goals and objectives
  • Coach the team to ensure achievement of company expectations for quality, service and sales
  • Ensure the branch meets Safety Program standards by supporting the Safety team and reinforcing the importance of safety
  • Review monthly branch financial statements
In addition, the successful candidate will enjoy the perks that come with this position such as a base salary of roughly $80,000 per year, extended health benefits, a company vehicle, retirement savings plan contribution, profit sharing bonuses after 3 months of employment and potential additional bonuses after 1 year.The Ideal CandidateYou are our ideal candidate if you have proven business knowledge and the ability to build and lead a team successfully. You are someone who has previous work experience in a management or supervisory role and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, you obtain the following qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline is an asset
  • Previous experience in a similar work environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with Leavitt products and services is a strong asset
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
