Location: Lake Country, BC or Remote (work from home) – Out of Town Travel required on occasion.Our performance driven client has established themselves as an industry leading electrical contractor and deliver quality solutions to their clients in the Institutional, Commercial, Industrial, and Utility sectors throughout British Columbia and the Yukon. With their management team having over 75 years of combined experience within the construction industry you can count of them to complete every project on time and at the agreed-on price. Currently they are seeking an experienced General Foreman to add to their dynamic management team.The Electrical General Foreman coordinates with the Project Manager and A-Foreman of all projects to properly apply manpower, B-material, QAQC of install and staff. The GF needs to be proficient at communicating and helping implement design to help meet schedule on all projects. The GF must also monitor and train all A-Foreman.Skills and Knowledge: Proficient at multi-tasking, time management and organization. Must have knowledge in a variety of institutional, commercial, and industrial projects. Being able to reference on past experiences and installs to help the A-Foreman achieve proper install.Qualifications: Must have run multiple projects at once, run crews as large as 20Experience: 5 Years of Foremanship – 9 years in tradePersonality Suitability: Hard Working, Motivated, Confident and a Team PlayerDuties and Responsibilities:SiteMax Site Reporting

• Holding foreman accountable to site report daily
• Setting and ensuring standards are met
• Reviewing onsite logistics are reported
• Ensure Time Sheets are correct filled out and Foreman sign off on their work force

SiteMax Equipment Reporting

• Tool reconciliations are done monthly and holding foreman responsible for reporting
• Tool inspections are done quarterly and are colour code identified
• New tools are marked, logo stenciled, QR coded, and SiteMax ID number is done correctly
• Damaged/ Tool repairs are entered into SiteMax and coordinated to get back into service

SiteMax Safety Reporting

• Ensure daily Tool Box Talks, FLHA’s are entered with each Foreman
• Ensure equipment and vehicle inspections are done at the duration required by COR
• Review site specific safety policies with Foreman
• Elevated work safety procedures and inspections of PPE and equipment are enforced
• Safety infractions are disciplined and recorded
• Safety incidences are recorded properly in SiteMax, medical attention is coordinated on site, and administration is notified

SiteMax B Material and Distributor Performance

• Ensuring Fireman maintain proper procedures and filings
• Differentiate base, CR, and EWO issued within SiteMax and filed correctly in PM drive
• Monitor RMA’s and logistics to ensure accounting is notified of credits or overages by the foreman and effectively communicated correctly to the Distributor
• Holding Distributors accountable to perform as agreed upon

Work Force

• GF is to control all major movements of manpower on all sites. Over site of small movements with Foreman for journeyman or apprentice
• Tracking and achieving targeted crew composition
• Weekly sign off of time sheets with site Foreman
• Projecting and coordination with HR, PM, and administration for labour shortages and layoffs

Major Equipment Procurement

• Coordinate with Sr. PM and President all mayor equipment required for site specific projects
• Coordinate all vehicle and equipment movements with Sr. PM
• GF will be responsible to coordinate all deliveries

Mentorship and Training Foreman Leadership

• GF is to ensure Foreman are capable of the assigned task or trained and monitored ti achieve FPEI standards
• Foreman leadership on site. FPEI expectations for site communication with our work force, generals, and PM’s efficiently and effectively
• Implement, encourage, and hold accountable Foreman to the TDQM System approach. To Do, Questions, Material for Foreman
• Collaboration and solution solving approach at all Foreman’s meetings and ensuring the Fireman are held accountable to status and projection reports at the Foreman meetings
• Instilling a positive proactive approach with the Foreman
• Instilling and creating a trusting atmosphere with all Foreman to communicate issues at hand
• Creating checklist QAQC and organizational systems to help keep the Foreman on track and empower them

BlueBeam

• GF is to standardize toolbox items
• Collaboration with Jr. PM to create standardized symbols in BlueBeam with collaboration with estimating, PM, and Foreman
• Creating and monitoring working drawings standards with Foreman and Jr. PM to ensure they are similar in design format within the organization
