If this sound interesting, we might just be the fit you are looking for.Four Point Electric Inc. is hiring an Office Administrator to work with accounts receivable out of our office in Lake Country, BC.NOTE: We are willing to train a candidate who is highly motivated to learn.General As an administrative assistant in accounts receivable, the role processes accounts receivable invoices and transactions. Managing employee payroll, health and benefits, remittances, and tax filings. Maintaining and developing health and safety policies and procedures. Recruitment and employee data management.Duties and Responsibilities: Accounting/Finance

  • Payroll
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Financial reporting and administration
  • Taxation reporting and remittances
  • Bookkeeping
  • Update and develop forms, policies, and procedures as required
  • Liaising with client contacts
Human Resources
  • Recruitment (manage job postings, conduct initial applicant screen, conduct reference checks, coordinate and schedule interviews).
  • Coordination of orientations, and enter new hire paperwork)
  • Onboard employees (general offer and new hire packages, onboard presentations).
  • Coordination and tracking of completion of employee orientations, probationary period reviews and annual reviews
  • Group Health Benefits administration
  • Update and develop forms, policies, and procedures as required
  • Keeping employee records and answering employee questions regarding routine matters
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Knowledgeable of full cycle bookkeeping, including data entry, reconciling payroll
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Skilled with Pivot Tables and formulas
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and systems analysis skills.
  • Proficient communication and customer service skills: written and verbal skills, organization abilities and proven attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Organization, time-management, and multi-tasking skills are required.
  • High degree of initiative and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Completed, or currently enrolled in, Business Diploma, or related discipline.
QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification is an asset.
  • Microsoft Excel Expert is an asset.
  • Various safety tickets or certificates. Tickets may include, but are not limited to:
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or government-issued photo ID and Driver’s Abstract
  • Clients may require criminal background checks and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
Experience:
  • Experience in QuickBooks Desktop
  • Experience in administration role or data entry role

Licence/Certification:
  • Class 5 Drivers License (required)
