Job Description

Job DescriptionOur Stables KGB Attendants are a key component to the colleague experience at Chateau Lake Louise - offering a friendly face and warm food at the end of a working day. Stables KGB operates 365 days a year, primarily servicing the staff of Chateau Lake Louise. Come as you are!

  • Perform kitchen duties such as peeling and cutting vegetables; packaging food orders, packaging food products, and assistance of food prep
  • Adhere to standardized recipes and specifications in order to maintain consistency and quality
  • Maintain clean and orderly work stations
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are conducted according to Fairmont standards
  • Monitor and minimize overproduction and food waste
  • Operate kitchen equipment, adhering to safety procedures at all times
  • Ensure that food production, handling, and storage are in accordance with food safety guidelines
  • Report any equipment maintenance concerns or food quality issues to the Outlet Manager
  • Maintain an accurate cash float
  • Take food orders and serve guest in store and by phone
  • Greet all customers in polite and friendly manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries/concerns in an effective manner and escalate issues to the Outlet Manager as required
  • Assist in other areas of the Food and Beverage division as required
  • Perform Bartending duties and servicing of tables when necessary
  • Ensure accurate inventory counts of products and goods with suppliers and invoices
  • Perform cleaning duties of a steward as needed
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
  • Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned
